Financing Available

Multiple national lending options give homeowners different ways to finance a new pool or major remodel.

Choose the Right Type of Inground Pool for Your Property

There is no single pool type that makes sense for every homeowner. Budget matters. So does installation time, long-term maintenance, backyard access, and how much freedom you want over the final design.

DRS Pool & Spa builds all three major types of inground pools, so the conversation starts with what makes sense for your property rather than pushing you toward one construction method.

Vinyl Liner Pools

Vinyl liner pools are our highest-volume pool type and remain a practical choice for Michigan homeowners who want flexibility without the higher starting investment of a fully custom gunite pool.

We build with Alpha steel wall panels and offer GLI liners, including a broad selection of colors, patterns, and finishes. The liner itself can also be replaced later without rebuilding the pool structure, giving you a straightforward way to update the appearance of the pool over time.

Fiberglass Pools

Fiberglass gives homeowners a factory-manufactured shell with a smooth, non-abrasive surface and a relatively fast installation once the site is ready.

DRS Pool & Spa installs fiberglass pools from Latham and Leading Edge, giving you access to a wide range of established shapes, sizes, steps, benches, tanning ledges, and other built-in configurations.

Because the shell arrives as one piece, property access and delivery limitations need to be considered early. We will help determine whether fiberglass makes sense for your site before you get too far into the process.

Gunite Pools

Gunite is the option for homeowners who need greater freedom over the pool’s shape, dimensions, depth, and integrated features.

Rather than choosing a premanufactured shell, the pool is built for the property. That opens the door to more complex layouts, attached inground spas, custom steps, tanning ledges, and designs that need to work around specific architectural or site conditions.

Gunite requires a longer and more involved construction process than fiberglass or many vinyl liner installations, but for the right project, the design flexibility is the reason to choose it.

Already Have a Pool? We Work on Those Too.

Not every project starts with an empty backyard. DRS Pool & Spa also works with homeowners whose existing pools need significant updates or seasonal attention.

Pool Remodeling

For larger renovation projects, we handle full retile, full resurfacing, concrete removal and replacement, equipment pad replacement, liner replacement, and complete pool remodels.

We focus on whole-pool projects rather than small individual tile or crack repair calls.

Vinyl Liner Replacement

A liner that is faded, brittle, leaking, pulling away, or damaged does not necessarily mean you need a new pool.

We measure the existing pool, help you select from GLI liner patterns, order the new liner, and complete the replacement so the pool is ready for another Michigan swim season.

Pool Opening & Closing

Michigan winters are hard on pools. Proper winterization matters.

DRS Pool & Spa provides seasonal pool openings and closings to prepare existing pools for the change from freezing winter conditions to swimming season and back again.

We do not offer weekly cleaning routes or recurring maintenance plans.

8,500 Square Feet

of Pool Products, Materials & Equipment

There is a difference between choosing a pool from a few photos and being able to see materials and equipment in person. DRS Pool & Spa operates an 8,500-square-foot showroom in Oxford, Michigan, giving our team a physical home base and giving homeowners the opportunity to see many of the products that go into their projects.

It is also one more way to know who you are hiring. DRS Pool & Spa is not a temporary crew moving from job to job. We have been operating here since 2013, and this is where our business is based.

Questions Homeowners Ask Before Getting Started

  • How do I know whether vinyl liner, fiberglass, or gunite is right for me?

Start with your property, budget, preferred design, and expectations for maintenance. Vinyl liner usually offers a lower entry point and plenty of design flexibility. Fiberglass provides a smooth factory-built shell and faster installation but is limited to available models and site access. Gunite provides the greatest design freedom but involves a longer, more complex build.

  • Does DRS Pool & Spa handle pool permits?

Yes. DRS Pool & Spa pulls the required permits for the pool construction projects we manage, so

you do not have to navigate that process on your own.

  • What does “same-day estimate” mean?

Your estimate is delivered the same day we visit your property. It does not mean someone will necessarily be able to visit your home the same day you call. We want the estimate to be based on the actual site and scope of work.

  • Does DRS Pool & Spa service existing pools?

Yes, within a defined scope. We provide complete pool remodeling, vinyl liner replacement, and seasonal pool openings and closings. We do not provide weekly cleaning or recurring pool maintenance routes.

  • Where is DRS Pool & Spa located?

DRS Pool & Spa is based in Oxford, Michigan and serves homeowners throughout Oakland,

Macomb, Lapeer, Genesee, Livingston, and Wayne counties.
